As a GitHub Marketplace customer, why am I unable to manually assign seats?

Context
Customers on a GitHub Marketplace plan reported being unable to manually assign seats, despite being an admin on their organization. Other admins in the same team also faced the same issue.
This situation can prevent customers from reassigning seats when inactive members occupy them, effectively blocking active users from accessing CodeRabbit.
It can be related to how seat assignment functionality is configured for GitHub Marketplace subscriptions (see below). In some cases, the issue may also stem from organizational OAuth restrictions or from authentication tokens that become invalid or expired, or exceed size limits as a result of excessive permissions.
Answer
Switching between auto and manual seat assignment modes in the CodeRabbit UI is intentionally disabled for certain plan types to ensure consistency in billing and seat management.
Seat assignment switching is disabled in the following cases:
When the customer purchased through the GitHub Marketplace or Vercel Marketplace
When the customer is on the
Freeplan
Customers on these plans will remain in their default seat assignment mode and cannot toggle between modes in the UI.
